"Thou shall not kill" in the Bible: Exodus 20:13


Exodus tells us plainly that "thou shalt not kill." It's part of the ten commandments that God gave to Moses.

    ummmmmmmm, i have to wonder if God dosen’t know the difference between (kill) , and (murder), i suspect that he does. So, why didn’t he say, “thowgh shall not murder?”

    In the Hebrew it is “murder” the KJV renders it as “kill” not an accurate translation for that word, most modern translations do have murder… meaning taking a life indiscriminately without just cause. Just cause is for personal protection and times of war….
