"Tomorrow" in the Bible: Matthew 6:34

Christians are frequently encouraged in the Bible not to be weighed down by worry, but to trust God to help them handle whatever challenges life throws at them. Here, we are told not to worry about future events that are beyond our control, but to concentrate on the present.

I was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma in 1997. I am in remission at present. Everyone says I am a miracle. I don’t think myself a miracle. I just do what the doctors tell me and do what I have to do. I work, I play and I move on. I also lost five months of my life last year to gallbladder surgery that went bad. If it wasn’t for family, friends and church I couldn’t have made it. I thought about just letting go but I remembered I like life too much even though I have done what I wanted to do so far in my life but I missed my work (legal secretary), family (mom, dad, two brothers) and friends (league of women voters and legal secretary asspociation) as well as church (fellowship committee where I organize activities). I made new friends with both my medical procedures.
