If you'll be honest with yourself, you will see increasing evidence that you're not controlling your passions. They're beginning to control you. The fire is spreading.

My boyfriend and I are struggling with this. This trap is so easy to fall into and difficult to climb out of! Here’s what we’re trying: we’re starting to memorize relevant verses together for conviction and self-control. I’ve found 1 John 2:16, Job 31:3, Psalm 119:9, Proverbs 10:9… We’ve been trying to be honest with each other in our struggles, which has prompted this search. I admire his desire for righteousness, as it is contagious in his vulnerability. God is good, and He is strong.
