Unnecessary Running - #5714

The difference between personal peace and personal turmoil is an issue of priorities. Which kingdom are you putting first? If what matters to God, like your time with Him, your service for Him, the condition of your relationships; if those things have been shoved to the margins by other less eternal pursuits, then you're trapped in a race that knows no peace.

HOW DO YOU KNOW IF IT IS GOD DOING AND SAYING WHEN IT FEELS SO COMPLICATED. I PRAY OVER THE SITUATION FOR PEACE AND I ASK HIM IF ITS WHAT IS IN HIS WILL THAT THIS WHAT HE WANTS ME TO DO, FOR AN EXAMPLE THERE IS SITUATION THAT I AM TRYING TO LEAVE IT ALONE BECAUSE I GUESS I AM IMPATIENT AND SCARED OF REJECTION WHEN I SAY I AM BACKING OUT AND PRAY OVER IT THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING THAT POPS UP THAT PUTS A SMILE ON MY FACE. I AM VERY CONFUSED ON ANSWERS FROM GOD.

Me too… I usually just ask God to take it and show me… then go looking and usually will come across a passage that speaks to me… Then all of a sudden I know its right cause Whosh! I feel peace with it… It doesnt last long cause then I think about picking up the problem again… I have to then pray to stay where I am… Trusting not trying to make it happen… hope I helped… know its been a long time… you helped me…

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
