And of course pray and seek wise council.
If your son has doubts about joining or continuing in he delayed enlistment program, then he is not ready to join. An uneasiness could be a way God is speaking to him. No matter what he does, if he cannot glorify God in what he is doing or how he will have to carry himself while doing it, he should not do it. God can use him where ever he goes as long as it is according to God’s word. He should not join the Marines with a mind of “how can I get out of it”. I am a former Marine and my walk with God was not as stong or focused as it is now, but it was a source of testimony of what my life was like then and now. If his Christian walk is grounded now, he can be used once he joins.
