this is put very well, the fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom, but also to my understanding in timothy 2-17, For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. so i ask do we fear the lord in wisdom and hearing every word and submitting our ears unto him. or be strong and powerful and stand up to the lord and face him? cause to face the lord is facing yourself in a sound mind.

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
