Waiting for Tomorrow's Gift - #5726

When you finally see what God is putting together behind closed doors for you, you're going to be forever grateful. You're going to love it. But for now, you may hear the hammering, but you won't be able to see what He's working on. Will you, as David said, "Wait patiently on the Lord"?

  1. Rachell says:

Luke 1: 35 The angel answered: “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the Power of the Most High will overpower you.”

Of all the gifts we might desire for Christmast, this is what we should desire- “for the Holy Spirit to come upon you, for the Power of the Most High to overshadow you.” This gift means more than all the earthly treasures. It has everlasting, eternal value. It brings peace, prosperity and power by the grace of God. It fills you with so much joy and wisdom and will fill your heart with a spirit of giving and sharing.

Prayer: May the Lord grant His Spirit to come upon you and His Power to overshadow you over this Christ-mas time.

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
