When You're Feeling Down
Life for all of us has its low moments. We wrestle with emotions that are painful, with experiences that trouble us deeply. We find ourselves feeling down. What does the Christian gospel say to us at such times? What resources does faith provide for "living through" our low periods?

Hi i have been wrestling with many emotions and painful experiences. I have got to give the man that i’ve been engaged to for over 3 years an answer wheather i want to go to the next stage with him which is? can you guess yes marriage!! My heart is so heavy we are both christains and what makes it worse he’s a pastor – who has been married before with two teenage kids.. The kids are wonderful and get on well with my two, however i have not been happy with in this relationship for along time – I oftern sense this man of God which he calls himself and others around him. Lacking in love for me and common respect. I know God changes a people – please pray for me to resolve this matter.
Guys, im interested in this topic. Im depressed at this moment, Im in pain. My boyfriend cheated on me and now he asked for his freedom. I have given what he wished for but then its very hard on my part to move on.
When there are such times of pain and trouble, the most important thing is how we react to them. Our response during these times determines whether we learn and grow from our problems and pain or whether we become bitter and cynical and angry at God and life. One of the right responses would be to share your heart with God and accept the fact that God cares for you enough to heal you and bring you out of this triumphantly. The pain is there but remember that if you allow God to work through you He will make you a better and stronger person. Never allow bitterness or hatred to creep in during such moments. Leave the entire matter in God’s hands by faith. Faith is what pleases Him and you have to have faith that God is in control over everything if you let Him to be. All things work together for good to those that love Him. So, remember Job who had much patience and faith when he was in pain. God may seem to be far away but that is not so. You may not feel Him but He is there waiting for the right time to appear in your life. Allow your pain to refine you and bring you out as pure gold comes out from the furnace. God bless you. http://www.thequest4truth.com
Sometimes you have to stand back and see what is the message that God is sending to you? If someone leaves your life could it be because your life has to take a different path?
