Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Nuisance Or Need? - #5663
In your life there are obnoxious people; there are mean people, folks who demand a lot of your time and attention; complainers; problem people. Honestly, there are people, who for one reason or another, well, you'd just like to close the door on like almost everyone else has. And you will unless you see them through the eyes of Jesus. Then you'll see the need behind the deeds, like a mother who looks past a baby's crying to find out where it hurts.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Seeing What Isn't Working - #4202
Our grandson basically ignored the lights that were working - all he could see were the ones that weren't working. Sadly, there are grownup people who live most of their lives that way - they look right past the things that are working and choose to focus on the things that aren't working. So they're often frustrated, discontent, unhappy, critical. And when we're like that, I guess we become "negatologists" - people who major on the negative.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Your Attitude and Your Altitude - #4238
Every pilot knows if your attitude is incorrect, there will be tragic results. Every person knows that - or at least we should. If your attitude is right, you can make it through almost anything. If your attitude is wrong, you're going to start losing altitude, tumbling, and eventually crashing. In life, we usually don't get to choose our circumstances, the kind of stuff we have to fly through. A lot of that is determined by forces or people beyond our control. But we can choose our attitude. And it will be our attitude, not our circumstances, that determine whether we stay up or go down.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Joy In The Jungle - #4116
You know, we all have things in our environment that are unpleasant - people that irritate or hurt us, circumstances that get us down, little injustices, stubborn problems. But when we look at the grace that God gave Martin Burnham - and we know we have access to that same grace - I have to ask, "What's our excuse for a bad attitude?"

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Removing the Toxic Waste - #4087
People can accumulate toxic stuff, too - attitudes and reactions that give off a kind of spiritual radiation ... that pollutes the environment and it's hazardous to the spiritual health of others.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Stabilizing Your Aircraft - #3991
How's my attitude? How's your attitude? It probably depends on how well you're lined up with the horizon. That's "horizon" as in the God you belong to - the fixed point in the midst of all the variables in your life.
