Be not afraid in the Bible - a Christian perspective
When Jesus was walking on the water towards the ship with the disciples, they understandably freaked out. He told them to be not afraid and assured them he wasn't a ghost. It was after this that the disciples finally began to understand Jesus' miracles with the loaves.
