But here's the thing. Have you ever paid much attention to a safety briefing? Did you remember it later? Probably not. But embed something in humor, and you gain instant attention, with high memorability and comprehension. Humor is biblical. Use it to communicate. Jesus did. Constantly. Creatively.

Extraordinary Ordinary - #6713
You say, "Oh, I'm just a Sunday School teacher. I'm just a helper. I'm just a choir member. I'm just an untrained, simple person who loves Jesus." You're not a "just a..." Stop it! Don't keep saying you're "just a..." You're not that if you open yourself up to letting the Holy Spirit make your ordinary extraordinary.

YouVersion – changing the whole context of Bible
If you don't yet have a smartphone, you may not realise their compelling advantages. These include having with you 24/7: a still/video camera, diary (which can syncronize automatically to other family members, work colleagues, church etc.), satnav, photo album, note-taker, alarm-clock/watch, Kindle e-reader (there's a free Kindle app – and there are plenty of free classics to choose from), news updates, games as well as all the usual web services – browsing, email, Facebook, Twitter. Free (or very cheap) apps extend this functionality in many ways. The YouVersion bible app is a further opportunity for Jesus followers with smartphones.
