John Cleese, creative writer, actor and comedian, has produced much memorable comedy. The classic TV series Fawlty Towers (1975-9) is widely regarded as one of the best television comedies of all time. It has dated little in nearly 40 years, and is available as a remastered DVD set. The Silent Killer - #6574
Have you been neglecting your time with Jesus? You can't see it, but you're being steadily weakened and eroded by what you're not doing. You just can't afford another day away. There have been too many already. The alternative is that one day you'll be closed; you'll cave in.
Arial views of Calke Abbey filmed by model helicopter
Calke Abbey is a stately home in UK's East Midlands. Here’s a fascinating video shot by a friend of a friend using small radio-controlled battery-powered model helicopters (3- and 4-rotor) carrying a video camera. There are many spiritual parallels in flying.

In UK, we have a builders merchants called Travis Perkins. They are a great place to buy timber and other materials, and doubtless a business of the utmost probity, named after two companies that merged. But it is interesting to consider the hidden color, the resonance, in this name. No word exists in a vacuum. Words only have life because they create an image in our minds. And this image, different for each of us, will be an amalgam of our previous personal experience plus an overlay from our history and culture.
Incredible new evangelistic 'Talking About Jesus' iPhone app
Although there are increasing numbers of Christian smartphone apps available, very few are designed to directly relate to outsiders evangelistically. It's the old '99 Per Cent Problem' again. So it is a privilege to announce the release of the Talking About Jesus iPhone app, from UK's Damaris ministry. This app enables Christians to talk to their friends and colleagues about Jesus, and discuss His life and teachings. It contains over an hour's specially-filmed video content, all instantly available within the app and without a data connection being required.
One Wall That Keeps the Sharks Away - #6553
As each new day begins, open God's Word and you apply it to your struggles, your weaknesses, your failures. I need to rebuild my biblical wall every new day. It's also vital that key verses become a part of you; part of your personality. That means committing to memory verses that directly address your "shark."
