Bloom - a Christian perspective
Watching flowers bloom is a fascinating thing and requires a confluence of circumstances that's truly complicated when you think about it. Isaiah uses this image in chapter 35, saying that the desert itself--although previously parched--will bloom like crocus. It will rejoice greatly and shout for the LORD.
