The Hammer In God's Hands - #5800
The hammer that hits us in our life can either break us or build us. If we'll turn to God when we're getting hit, looking for His purposes and His message, that hammer can build us into something we've never been before.

Wise woman in the Bible - a Christian perspective
A wise woman is one who builds her household up, preparing for the future. By contrast, a foolish woman is only interested in tearing it down.

"Build" in the Bible: Psalm 127:1
Without God, any human endeavor is destined to fail. But when God builds something, it is guaranteed to last. This should prompt us to always seek God's blessing before embarking on a plan, spiritual or otherwise.

Christian failure: why Christians fail to communicate the Gospel or evangelize effectively
There are two major reasons why we so often fail to touch many non-Christians with the Gospel. Firstly, we frequently present the good news in language and from a viewpoint which does not actually engage with non-Christians and their real felt needs, or take into account the culture they live in. We can quickly forget how we used to feel and think, like someone who moves to a different country early in life, and forgets their heart language. There is therefore a huge mismatch between the actual needs of non-Christians and the production of Christian literature, webpages and other media. The other is related to it: we very find it so much easier to only meet Christians socially and after conversion quickly lose meaningful relationships with non-Christians.

Hobby pages - key method of web evangelism: hobbies & specal affinity-group interests
Almost everyone has a hobby or special interest. Uniquely, the Web makes it possible for us to reach any affinity-group of people using a site that is designed to mesh with their own interests. This major strategy is hardly being used. If you have a hobby or special interest, it is certain that there are millions of people around the world who share it. You have the expertise and enthusiasm to write about it – and reach them at the same time.

Evangelism by building relationships and befriending: the evangelism method Jesus used
Web Evangelism, indeed any form of outreach, should not primarily be 'cut and run' – the hope that a quick exposure to an evangelistic page, tract, or some other message is likely to communicate effectively on its own. Fruit from web evangelism does not usually happen this way.

Bad church website mistakes and problems: how to avoid these design errors
Many church websites are attractively designed, and yet seem to fail at one crucial point: they are not user-friendly to outsiders. Yet a church website should be a 'shop window' for the outside community and one has been designed with non-Christians as its first priority can be highly effective.
