Heavy On the Healthy Stuff - #5936
Crushing Satan under your feet; that's a war on two fronts. You have to be against what's bad getting into your system, but that isn't enough. You have to take daily opportunities to become smarter about what is innocent. Cut the damaging stuff out of your heart-diet and go heavy on the healthy stuff!

The Christmas Window - #2593
Maybe you need to invite them to an event that will be the kind that is seeker-friendly prepared for lost people. They're ready to hear Christmas music I bet, everybody wants to hear that. Maybe then you invite them for fellowship afterwards over to your house and talk about what was said and sung about Jesus Christ. Jesus said it was harvest time, and harvest means ready.

Putting Clean On Over Dirty - #5711
So you are at a crossroads. God brought us together today to tell you that covering up your dirty with a layer of clean isn't going to cut it. It's self-deception, it's living a lie, it's defying God, and it's building up judgment. Don't you think it's time to come clean even if it hurts? It will hurt a whole lot more not to come clean.

"Christian" in the Bible: Acts 11:26
Christ-followers were not formally identified as "Christians" until after Christ's death and resurrection. This is a reference to the first known instance of the term being used, in Antioch, to refer to the church of Saul and Barnabus.

Lack of emphasis on evangelism and outreach in the church: the 99 Percent Problem
It's almost like there's a rule: 99% to us, 1% for them. We can see it reflected in Christian bookshops, where a search of the book titles and videos will reveal that the vast majority of material is produced entirely for Christians, in terms of language, content and underlying assumptions.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Problem With Just Looking - #5675
It's time to get back into the mainstream where the miracles are...where the powerful works of God are. Drop your analyzer's detachment and return to your original love, your original excitement about Jesus. Let God happen to you again! When Jesus is offering such supernatural merchandise, it would be a shame if you're just on the edges "just looking."
