Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Old On The Outside, New On The Inside - #4330
"We do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day." Now, make no mistake about it - the outside Paul was really taking a beating ... sometimes literally. Earlier in this chapter, he describes himself as "hard-pressed on every side," - maybe you can relate to that - "perplexed, persecuted, struck down." But though he's showing and feeling the mileage on the outside, he says God keeps renewing him on the inside.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - You've Got Mail - #4332
Actually, you've got mail every day - mail from Almighty God Himself! God's messages are, of course, communicated in His Book, the Bible. You may say, "Yeah, but that's not new information." Well, on the one hand, God's messages in the Bible are timeless information - always there, as true today as they were the day He authored them. But, on the other hand, God's messages are always breaking news, too, because your situation is different today.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - No Timeouts, No Victory - #4344
We're busy playing the game. We lose our perspective because we can only see things from the position we're playing. But the Coach, of course, can see it all. It's worth it to stop the game for a little while to get the perspective of the one who's got the big picture. If you're a child of God, that timeout is called prayer. And we can't win without it. But we sure try.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - A Healthy Appetite - #4205
Watching my granddaughter's demand for mama's milk has actually helped me understand even more how God uses that example in showing us how to grow in Him. I feel like He's talking about my little darlin' when He says in 1 Peter 2:2, our word for today from the Word of God, "Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation."

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Who's on in Prime Time? - #4180
Let's take your personal time with Jesus, for example. Now, if we're going to seek first what matters to Jesus, wouldn't that make our time with Him a primary item in our daily schedule? You've got no more important thing in your life than Jesus. Do you have Him on in prime time or stuffed in some sleepy, rushed, crummy corner of your life's broadcast schedule?

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Fresh Each Day - #4027
Getting it fresh - that’s not only a good idea at the bakery, but when it comes to picking up your provisions from heaven, too. God’s got new resources for you each new day. Mercies that are “new every morning” according to the Bible. (Lamentations 3:23) The reason so many of us are spiritually up and down, lacking the power we need, the strength we need, constantly being overwhelmed by the day’s events is that we aren’t stopping at God’s “bakery” each morning to pick up that day’s “bread.”
