Ethiopian in the Bible - a Christian perspective
We read the story of the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8. Philip meets the Ethiopian on the road from Jerusalem to Gaza. The Ethiopian is reading Isaiah and asks for an interpretation from Philip. Philip then tells him how the passage is about Jesus. The Eunuch then requests to be baptized. Immediately afterward, Philip is taken by the LORD to Azotus.
