Running Ahead of Your Supply Lines - #6518
When worry comes, get the hook, get it off center stage, and don't run ahead of your supply lines by worrying into tomorrow. Remember, your Father has everything under control!

Going Not Knowing - #6515
Jesus died for you. Is He ever going to do you wrong? God's mystery trips always lead to a destination that is selected with you in mind for your good. So, why not settle back, enjoy the trip, and let Him drive. Trust your Father and don't be afraid of going not knowing.

Our Own Little Bethlehem - #6505
You know, Christmas really is all about a Baby who came to die so we could live. And I will never stop thanking Him that He saw that lost little family in a second floor apartment on the south side of Chicago and sent a missionary - my brother - who never spoke a word to gave us Jesus.

Hold Your Fire - #6474
In Romans 12 the Apostle Paul says, "Do not repay anyone evil for evil; do not take revenge, but leave room for God's wrath." Let God even the score; He's much better at it than you are. Jesus turned to His Father for justice. An eye for an eye is not the way of Jesus. Even from His cross He says of those who have nailed Him to that cross, "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." That's the example for us.

Unwanted
Jesus loves you so much - because you're twice His. Once, because He made you. And once, because He paid for you - with His life. And on the day you welcome Him into your life, He'll give you a glorious new name. "To all who received Him...He gave the right to become children of God" (John 1:12).

Loving Me Ugly - #6441
Why are you living away from home, from His "take you as you are" kind of love? Oh, maybe you're not in the pigpen yet. Well, don't wait until you hit the wall at the end of a dead-end street. And even if you have, head home. You will find a Father running to meet you and to clean you up and hug you.

Satisfied With Daddy's Answers - #6416
Maybe you've prayed and you've said, "I'm not getting any answer to my prayer." Well, actually, every prayer is answered. God says, "Call unto Me and I will answer you." And He's answering; maybe not in the way you want it; not in the time that you wanted. Could you settle back in your seat and relax in the answer that He's been giving?

The Greatest Enemy of the Best - #6396
We all have a hard time waiting for God to deliver what He promised. So we try to help Him. So, what's the greatest enemy of God's best? Impatience. We are the microwave generation. We get 30-second solutions to every problem in commercials. We like fast food. We want God's provision, but we want it now.

Very Away and Very Alone - #6348
Jesus Christ suffered the penalty you and I should pay: being cut off from God. That's what hell is. Everything good, pure, loving, and beautiful on earth is because of God. And hell is total "away-ness" from God with no party, no friends, no music, no money to drown that awful emptiness. Jesus was suffering all that hell for you and me on that cross.

You Can't Run Fast Enough - #6344
When you're running from God, you are a destabilizing force on everything and everyone around you, and God is pursuing you even to this moment today. It's a good thing isn't it that parents always catch their children? Because if they didn't, eventually you know those kids would run into disaster or death. Well, God is catching you.

“[Love for Enemies] “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.”
- Matthew 5:43-45
