Fields in the Bible - a Christian perspective
Jesus used the metaphor of harvesting to describe the act of sharing the Gospel with others and inviting them into the kingdom of God. There's no need to wait to collect the "harvest," he says here; people are ready and waiting to hear God's message of grace.
