Generally, all followers of Jesus. Jesus calls the church his body (Acts 2:42-47; 1 Corinthians 12:12-31; 1 Corinthians 15:9-11). Church is used specifically to refer to believers who meet in a certain place. Most of the books of the New Testament are letters to churches. Acts 11:19-26
