Ron Hutchcraft Ministries, Inc. - The Holiday With the Price Tag - #8277 | Radio Program | A Life That Matters
As Memorial Day approaches, I remember when our family visited Arlington National Cemetery where the heroes of many of America’s wars are buried. The kids were young, but it was good for them to understand a little of what our way of life has cost. After looking at that sea of grave markers as far as the eye could see, our son said, “Dad, what do all those white things mean?” “In three words, son, freedom is expensive.”

The Freedom Line - #5833
There's no religion, there's no spirituality, there's no ritual that can liberate you from sin's shackles. The only One who can do that is the man who bought your freedom with His blood. Jesus said He came to give His life as a "ransom for many."

"Free" in the Bible: John 8:35-36
God promises freedom to those who follow Him. This passage contrasts the lot of a slave, who must do as he or she is told, to that of a family member, who is free to act as they please. When we follow Christ, we are invited to leave our slavery to sin and join the family of God.

Freedom in the Bible: Psalm 119:45-48
One of the paradoxes of the Christian life is that we find true freedom when we surrender our lives to God's will. When we seek out God's will and devote ourselves to it, we find that sin and the law lose their grip on us and we are finally free to be fully human.

Free In The Spirit
What can we do when we don’t live up to our own principles? What if we find ourselves not doing what we want to do, while doing the very things we’ve determined not to do?

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries, Inc. - Even Superman Has His Kryptonite - #9191 | Radio Program | A Life That Matters
I’m Ron Hutchcraft, and I am no Superman, but I understand the Kryptonite thing…that we all have some things that have repeatedly brought us down spiritually. And just like Superman, we can’t afford to get near our spiritual Kryptonite. The command in the Bible is, “Throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus” (Hebrews 12:1).

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries, Inc. - Slaves No More - #9188 | Radio Program | A Life That Matters
I can only imagine the unspeakably deep feelings of my African-American brothers and sisters with the historic inauguration of America’s first black President. The milestone stands at the pinnacle of a story that begins with slave ships, shackles, segregation and shame. What could have been more degrading than to be owned by another human being and listed as property? It’s no wonder many of those slaves risked their lives trying to be free. History tells us that some who made it out were buried with just four telling words on their tombstones: “Born slave, died free.”

Devotional : Freedom
Robin Mark wrote, "It's only in your will that I am free." But how can we find freedom in surrendering our will to another? Isn't that the opposite of freedom? This devotional explores the meaning of freedom and explains why surrendering all to Jesus is precisely how we can achieve ultimate peace and freedom.
