When Swimming Can't Help - #3018
All that any religion can offer you is a book of swimming instructions - their way to swim to God. But it doesn't matter if they're Protestant swimming instructions or Catholic swimming instructions or Jewish or Moslem or Buddhist or New Age. Swimming instructions won't rescue a drowning man or woman. Only the Savior can do that. And only Jesus did the dying it requires to get rid of your sin and get you into a relationship with your Creator.

"Iron sharpens iron" in the Bible: Proverbs 27:17
A good friend is not someone who necessarily agrees with everything you do and say--it's somebody who lovingly challenges you to be a better person. We grow in maturity when we can test our thoughts and ideas against another person, and when we're open to correction when we're wrong.

Close Enough to Save Them - #2719
God has assigned you to a neighborhood, a workplace, a school, a social circle - to put you in a position to represent Jesus there. Yes, with your life - but also with your words. People won't figure out that Jesus took their place on the cross just by watching your life. You have to tell them that!

The Voices and the Choices - #2716
We've caved in to the pressure, didn't stand for what was right and sold out our Savior. We listened to a voice or voices other than Jesus. We can't have those moments of compromise back. But we can bring them to the Lord repentantly, and claim His forgiveness. And pledge to Him that His will be the voice we follow in our choices.

Friends in the Bible: Proverbs 18:24
Where would we be without friends to support us? The value of even a single friend who will stick close by you in difficult times is more valuable than countless false friends who will abandon you in times of need.

"Friend" in the Bible: Proverbs 27:10
Friends are invaluable in times of trouble. In this proverb the author discusses the importance of family and friends in difficult times. He tells us that it's good to have neighbors nearby to depend on when times are rough because our brothers and sisters might be far away.

Twitter - the microblog service. Using it in Christian ministry and evangelism.
Twitter is a 'microblog' service. It allows you to send very short updates (140 characters) by SMS, instant messaging, or the Web, to the Twitter website, where they are viewable by others who have signed up to Twitter and chosen to listen to your 'tweets'. It is another tool for social networking.

In the above verse we have a description of God’s people according to the course of their lives and conduct. They are a people marked by two things: fear and submission, the latter being the fruit of the former. Regenerated souls obey God conscientiously out of reverence to His majesty and goodness,
