I am he in the Bible- a Christian perspective
When Judas brought the soldiers to capture Jesus, Jesus asked them who they were looking for. They indicated that they were looking for Jesus of Nazareth and he replied, I am he. Jesus boldly told the truth so that none of his disciples would be harmed.

God provides spiritual nourishment to His followers, who grow in maturity as a result, just as a garden blooms when it's connected to a good supply of water. Plant and water metaphors are often used to describe our dependence on God, and the growth we experience when we're connected to Him.

But remember what happened in that garden. They found precious treasure in the dirt; in a place you would never expect to find it. That's how it is with really getting close to Jesus. The greatest treasures are often found in the grit and dirt of our pain and our pressure.
