Be an Ambassador of Love
Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of Mine, you did for Me. — Matthew 25:40 Jesus was an ambassador of the Father’s love. The most quoted verse in the Bible is about God’s love: For God so loved the world that He gave His one and […]

From Addict to Free
I want to introduce you to Herbert. Herbert is a member of Transformation Church, and he is my friend. But, he wasn’t always my friend, or a member of Transformation Church. Here’s the story of how we met. One evening my family and I went to dinner with friends at an Italian restaurant near our […]

Acquiring a Heavenly Perspective
I . . . began working my way upstairs on my crutches. Down at the bottom, on the first step, I started getting mad at God. “This isn’t fair,” I grumbled aloud as I struggled up the stairs, one crutch at a time, one step at a time. “I have to suffer and be in […]

Unloseable - #6965
Jesus is the unloseable person we've looked for all our lives. Actually we're built to belong to our Creator. If it weren't for Jesus, we would never have the possibility of that heart-satisfying relationship because of the gap between God and us.

Today’s devotional: does God really love me uniquely?
If God loves everybody, what's so special about the fact that he loves me? Is God's love for all of us exactly the same, and does that mean there's nothing individual or unique about our relationship with Him?

God's love in the Bible: Psalm 23
The most famous Psalm in all of the Bible: "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want...." It's a perfect picture of God's love for His children, providing for their needs, keeping them safe from predators, and guiding them away from danger.

"God's love" in the Bible: Romans 8:38-39
No power on earth or heaven can separate us from God's love. Not our sin, not any authority, not any spiritual force. God's love is unshakable and can always be relied upon.

"Sparrow" in the Bible: Matthew 10:29-31
It's hard to think of a more diminutive or unimposing creature than the sparrow. But if God cares about even a creature as humble as the sparrow, doesn't it follow that His love for the human beings He created would be infinitely greater?

SermonIndex.net audio sermons: 1 Corinthians 13, Romans 5:5, 1 Cor 13 (version 1), Leonard Ravenhill
This sermon focuses on God's kind of love from the verses written by Paul in 1 Corinthians 13 and Romans 5:5. The majority of the sermon discusses the first half of 1 Cor 13; specifically verses 1 through 8. There are many old hymns and writings quoted by Brother Len that focus on the person and love of God and His Christ intertwined in the message, quite a few from Wesley. There is also some time spent on some of the past saints that exemplified this love.
