Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Eight Questions to Get it Right - #4748
When you go for God's insight, when you have God's insight, it produces a truly humble person, not a proud person. No looking down on others, putting down others, proceeding in arrogance and self-reliance. Wise people are very unimpressed with themselves and totally impressed with God and their need of Him. So go for the wisdom that gives you God's perspective on what's going on. And for all those you influence, you will be a personal agent of the ways of God in their lives!

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - When the Target's on Your Back - #4271
The decapitation strategy makes sense militarily. If you can take out a leader, you've probably neutralized those who look to that leader. It's a strategy the devil has been using for a long time. Jesus knew what a rock, what a leader Simon Peter would one day be for Him. But on the eve of Peter's denial of his Lord, Jesus told him, "Satan has asked to sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you..." (Luke 22:31-32) If you're serious about following Jesus, if you're in a position to influence others for Him, you can be sure Satan wants to sift you as wheat.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - How to Open a Closed Door - #4288
Interestingly enough, the way you get that automatic door to open is often the way to get God to open a door for you. You have to start moving in that direction. You have to start walking toward it before it will open.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Full Speed Ahead in the Wrong Direction - #4298
I hate to say it, but I think I've done that with God sometimes. Probably you have, too. God has some stern words for those of us who tend to be pretty strong-willed, determined-to-get-there kind of people. Being determined, goal-oriented, full of drive can be a great, even God-given, thing. But it's all too easy for us to go darting out of the driveway and proceeding full speed ahead in the wrong direction.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Only Applause that Matters - #4819
It's called "Please Disease" - spending so much of your life trying to please others. But there's never enough applause. There's never enough approval. And somewhere in all the pleasing, you lose yourself and you lose the pleasure of the only One who can satisfy your heart - your Lord Jesus who died so you could live for Him!

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - In Touch With The Tower - #4130
A pilot needs to stay in constant contact with the person who guides him through his entire flight. And as we try to pilot the life God has given us through all the "dangers, toils, and snares," we really need to stay in touch with our Flight Controller in heaven - the God who can see what we could never see, who can guide us on a path that we could never figure out on our own.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Green Lights and God's Will - #4167
For some folks, when you just say those words "God's will," the fog starts rolling in, they hear mystical music, and their blood pressure goes up. This business of knowing what God's will is seems so hard for so many believers. But, of course, God didn't create a plan for your life to torture you with it. He wants you to know what He wants you to do - but in the way that will keep you closest to Him.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Prince Caspian-The Strange Credentials of a Leader - #8073
A first step to a life that matters and to powerful leadership is the admission you can’t do it; you’re not enough. That’s when God is free to pour out His competence, His wisdom, His leadership.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Rudderless - #4169
That poor young husband. It's tough to be trying to sail without a rudder to guide you. It's actually a feeling a lot of folks know, even if they've never been on a sailboat in their life. In fact, it's our lives that often seem rudderless - drifting - without any real sense of direction. It doesn't matter how big or how small your life is, it can still feel rudderless.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Letting it Happen to Your Heart - #4178
." In other words, when Jesus saw the need of these people, something happened way down deep inside the very deepest parts of His heart. He wants to give you a heart like His. And in the stress and pressures and superficiality of the world we live in, it's easy to inadvertently build a steel wall that keeps us from feeling the lostness of the people around us. But when you lose that, you've lost an essential part of what it means to have a Christ-like heart.
