Holy of holies - a Christian perspective
In Exodus, God hands down his blueprint for the tabernacle. He tells Moses that the Holy of Holies should be protected by a large curtain of blue, purple and scarlet yarn. The Holy of Holies was to be roped off from all but the worthiest of individuals. When Jesus died on the cross, the curtain was torn in two.
