God with us - a Christian perspective
There was a prophecy about Jesus that said he would be born of a virgin and that he would be called Immanuel, which means God with us. The title God with us, speaks to the fact that Jesus would be both fully God and fully man.

"Virgin" in the Bible: Isaiah 7:14
Long before Jesus was born, it was prophesied that he would be born to a virgin. That's exactly what happened--Christ was born to the virgin Mary, as recounted in the Gospels. This is the original prophecy from the Old Testament figure Isaiah.
