Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Ignoring the Warnings - #4249
The fire was a tragedy. There was a greater tragedy - most of the people who died didn't have to die. If only they had listened to the warning. There is an even greater tragedy - the greatest human tragedy of all - when someone goes into an eternity they're not ready for because they refused to respond to the warnings.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Illusion of Being Covered - #4251
The Emperor thought he was covered. It didn't change the facts. He wasn't covered. Now that's fiction. But there's a non-fiction version of that same phenomenon. And the consequences of that self-deception are not amusing. They're deadly.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Shock at the End - #4259
One of the most sobering truths in the Bible is this: God has two lists. Each of us is on one of those two lists. Everyone we know, everyone we care about, is on one of those two lists. In 1 John 5:10-11, God plainly says, "God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life." There it is - the "saved" and the "lost." And it all depends on one thing - whether or not you have Jesus in your heart.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Hiding In Plain Sight - #4262
When I heard those words - "hidden in plain sight" - I thought to myself, "That phenomenon is not unique." There's something that everyone is looking for ... and it's right there in front of them ... but it's hiding, in plain sight. Because the people who know about it have got it covered up. What's hidden is Jesus and what He did on the cross for every person.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Battlefield Promotion - #4264
This was a soldier who knew where he was going - forever. He knew he was ready for eternity, whenever and however it came. He had a lot to say to thousands of people that day in the stadium. He has a lot to say to you and me about real hope and security. There is no deeper peace than to know for sure that death holds no fear for you, that when you die, you'll "see heaven" and you'll "see Jesus."

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Life-Saving Kits with Nothing Inside - #4269
It's a terrible thing to realize that the thing that claims to be able to save your life really has nothing that can help. As you read the pages of the Bible, you discover that the religions of the world are much like that. Every religion motivates its followers with the same promise - some form of heaven, of eternal life if you're a good follower of "whatever" or "whoever." Sadly, religion does not, for the most part, offer a cure for the deadly infection we have - sin and its eternal death penalty.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Names in the Foundation - #4270
That's what should be at the foundation of every church, every ministry, every child of God - the names of specific lost people who we are going to try to rescue. Here's a great example of how it's supposed to work. It's in our word for today from the Word of God.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Fatal Refusal - #4284
It's a deadly mistake to refuse to get in a lifeboat - especially when it comes to being rescued from an eternity that none of us wants. Tragically, a whole lot of people are saying to Jesus, "No thanks. I don't think I'm going to need You. After all, I've gotten this far without You. I've been fine up to here. I'll take my chances without You." Strong, self-reliant, doing things for yourself, and proudly refusing to put your trust in Jesus. And, according to the Bible, doomed. Because this one you can't do for yourself.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Walked On, But Still Victorious - #4299
I have a Savior like that. There are plenty of people who have no time for Jesus, no interest in Him, who have basically blown Him off. There are even people who consider Jesus something we used to believe in, something needed only be weak people. And in most workplaces and schools, you can hear Jesus' name used as a swear word most every day. Oh yes, His name has been trampled on.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - How to be Sure You'll Make it Home - #4761
There's a peace and security that is beyond words in knowing that death no longer has any hold over you. It is, in reality, a non-issue because of Jesus.
