Spiritual Growth in the Bible - a Christian perspective
Peter writes about spiritual growth in this verse. He says that when we pay attention and dwell on the words of the prophets we will be filled with light. When we meditate on the scriptures they slowly transform us from a being of darkness to a being of light. 19And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
