Methuselah in the Bible - a Christian perspective
Although the list of names in Genesis and elsewhere in the Bible can be confusing, they're there for a reason: they clearly demonstrate the lineage of Jesus Christ and show God's faithfulness in preserving the line of Israel all the way to Jesus' birth. Methuselah is one of the famous Old Testament characters through whom Jesus' line is traced.
