"Lots" in the Bible: Micah 2:5
The term lots in the Bible is used when a fair decision needed to be made. Usually it was for splitting up some sort of larger lot into smaller ones. In this verse the prophet is warning of a time when there would be no one within the assembly that could divide the land by lot.
