urpose of the annual worldwide Internet Evangelism Daya focus for churches
In New Testament times, the Roman Road system was strategic in God’s plan. It enabled the spread of the Gospel throughout the then-known world. In the same way, the Internet today is a worldwide network which can facilitate effective Gospel communication. We wish to communicate the outreach potential of the Web to the worldwide church. The site has a twin-track purpose: * to explain the strategies needed to use the web for evangelism, along with showcase examples, and demonstrate the many ways you could be involved. One surprising fact: you do not need to be technically gifted to do web evangelism! * to enable you to communicate these truths to others, by providing free downloads: PowerPoint, video clips, drama scripts, handouts, etc. These enable churches and other groups to build a web evangelism focus program into a service or other activities.

Christian Humor: why humor, fun, jokes and stories communicate in evangelism and the Bible
Humor is very valuable in evangelism and Christian communication because: * humor breaks down barriers and can smuggle ideas and challenges into people’s hearts. * a joke or humorous situation is often very memorable. * it shows that we don’t take ourselves too seriously, that we are not ‘holy Joes’, killjoys, or boring. * humor has been shown to be an essential component of adult learning. * most importantly, because we have a biblical mandate to use humor!

Jesus the Communicator - how Jesus met the felt personal needs of individual people
Down the long, dusty road on their way from Jericho to Jerusalem, almost two thousand years ago, trod Jesus with His motley band of twelve disciples, followed by a huge crowd. Because of their long journey, they were all hot and sweaty. The dust clung to them. They were weary, but Jesus was at the height of His popularity and the great crowd of people pressed close to Him. They were jabbering endlessly. Asking questions. Seeking favours. They could be heard a mile away.

Evangelism by building relationships and befriending: the evangelism method Jesus used
Web Evangelism, indeed any form of outreach, should not primarily be 'cut and run' – the hope that a quick exposure to an evangelistic page, tract, or some other message is likely to communicate effectively on its own. Fruit from web evangelism does not usually happen this way. “Non-relational evangelism is a contradiction,” says Southern Baptist communicator Ed Stetzer.

Book review: Well Connected - Releasing Power, Restoring Hope Through Kingdom Partnerships, by Phill Butler
Restored relationships are at the heart of the gospel. There is even relationship within the Godhead. And only through relationships can groups of Christians share the gospel (1 Cor. 12:12-31). Sadly, we are not always good at partnering across organizational or denominational boundaries. Yet there are many strategic outreaches which are only possible at this co-operative level. This is particularly true of web ministry, where there is great potential for integrating web outreach, radio, literature, with follow-up and local churches. There are a growing number of networks for web ministry in different countries and regions.

Book review: Got style? Personality-based evangelism by Jeffrey Johnson
We usually find it frustrating and discouraging to try and fulfill a role for which we do not have the gifts – it’s like being a square peg in a round hole. It is yet more condemning to feel completely inadequate in comparison with those who do seem to have these gifts.

Free e-book: Facebook Page Marketing Guide and related guides on Facebook and Twitter
Internet marketing company Hubspot produces a free 30-page PDF e-book explaining how to set up and use Facebook fan pages. Although this is in the context of marketing a company via Facebook, much of the information is very helpful to anyone starting or maintaining a fan page for non-profit, church, ministry or evangelism. Best introduction I’ve seen on the subject.
