First Snow Faith - #6541
Jesus made this incredible promise. He said, "If you ask anything in prayer, believe that you have received it..." Now, that's past tense. You haven't got it yet, but "believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." I have a Father who loves me and Who only says no if He's working on something that's for my good and better than I have asked for.

A Stick of Dynamite
when you give someone the Good News about Jesus, you're planting that stick of holy dynamite in their hearts. It's dynamite strong enough to demolish the walls, the defenses they have built around their lost heart. And God knows exactly what time is the right time to push "detonate."

Tomorrow's Weather - #6514
You can stand this stormy season if you know it won't rain forever. Oh, you have hurt, but because of Jesus you have hope. So don't be discouraged. I have seen tomorrow's weather.

Something Broken at Christmas - #6508
What a Christmas this could be. What a new beginning! Being broken can actually drive you into the loving arms of Jesus Christ where you can finally be whole.

The "Yes," the "No," and the "Wait" - #6493
You'll one day thank your Father for the things He denied or the things He postponed for your good. Relax, let your Father drive. You'll love the destination.

Something Better Than Leftovers - #6491
There's a tendency to let down on living so we won't have regrets, and won't have anything to fix, or repair, or hide. It's easy to let down at home. That's why we have to be careful to lead a blameless life. When we get home, we let down, we're careless because we think no one's watching. But the biblical priority is put on how you live at home.

Big Wings - #6487
Who knows how many times I have been rescued from danger I never even knew by "the man with big wings." The few I do know are just the tip of the iceberg of the countless times God has kept His rescue promise. The little song our kids sang before they went to sleep each night says it all: "Safe am I, safe am I, in the hollow of His hands."

What was Old Testament music really like?
When the Bible speaks of King David singing with his harp, or of Temple worship, what did it sound like. Probably not so different to today's synagogue cantors, minus the modern instruments and amplifiers. Listen to them here.

A Funeral For a Ghost - #6481
There's no healing, there's no forgiveness, there's no peace until you join David in saying, "I am without excuse, Lord. It's sin. I call it what You call it, and I accept full responsibility for it. I quit blaming anything or anyone around me. I'm dirty, Lord. I need to be clean by the blood of Christ."

Twister Love - #6456
Write that letter. Make that call. Go see that person. Give that gift. Say that thank you. Grab that time together. Show them you love them now.
