Missing the Votes that Really Count - #6011
If you want to see what a person is really like, see what their family thinks of them. They know you without the image, without the mask, without the nice speeches. There is no greater honor than to have your family consider you a hero.

Respect in the Bible: James 2:1-9
In this passage, James expressly forbids Christians to show favoritism to the wealthy, or to treat anyone differently than anyone else. The command to "love your neighbor" doesn't distinguish between different "types" of neighbor--which means that Christians are called to treat everyone with equal respect and love.

The King Thing - #5843
God has given us teachers to teach His truth to us, but that doesn't mean we just put away our Bible and stop thinking for ourselves. That's how cults and theological detours get started. See, your primary source of truth must always be the Word of God, which you personally, one-on-one with God, examine every day to see what is true; trusting His Holy Spirit to lead you into truth.

"Respect" in the Bible: Acts 10:33-35
True respect is a willful act. It requires one to turn off the emotions that drive you to judge, demean or disregard others. Peter, in these verses, says that he now knows that "God does not show favoritism" and is accepting of everyone.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Girl Watching - God is Watching #4186
It's actually a message the Creator of women would more than agree with. A woman is depersonalized, sexualized, trivialized by the way many men look at them - and she's the creation of a holy God; a Father in heaven. And you know how fierce a father is about protecting His daughter!

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - How to Turn Hearts
We should present Jesus in such a way that it makes a person feel loved, not condemned; bigger, not smaller. That's how Jesus treated people. And it's Jesus you represent. If it's important to do those things when votes are at stake, how much more important is it do it when lives are at stake?

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Hall of Fame/Hall of Shame - #8005
This “anything to win” thing affects business and how we handle our relationships—anything to win. And when you make unholy compromises to have a life that matters, the cost is just too high. You don’t win, you lose. You lose respect for the man or woman in the mirror, and it’s ugly to lose the trust of other people and the respect of other people.
