Full Alert - #2634
The threat to you and me is this predator called sin. And you probably know all too well which sin or sins are always crouching at your door, always trying to take over, whether it's anger or lust or worry or selfishness or pride, or some habit or persistent temptation. The call of God is to go on full alert against that sin, stopping its intrusion while it's small, before it is a full-scale sin invasion of your heart and mind.

Quake Insurance - #2631
There is a love that is unloseable, unmoveable, unconditional - a relationship that will sustain you when everything else is out of control.

The Verdict and the Penalty Are Already In - #5917
There's one verdict, and one sentence we don't have to wait for - yours and mine. The verdict and the penalty are already in. Not from a jury, but from the Judge. The Judge we must all face - God Himself. Deep down inside, we know that on the other side of our last heartbeat, which He decides by the way, we'll face our Creator. The Bible gives us a sobering warning about that: "Prepare to meet your God."

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries, Inc. - The End of Your Journey - #8255 | Radio Program | A Life That Matters
Not long ago, we had occasion to pass through Albuquerque, New Mexico. And I was reminded of a dear Native American friend, who is up in years and battling some physical problems. He told me that he views this part of his life as he does driving to Albuquerque. See, there’s this long climb to get to the top of this steep hill, and then suddenly, there it is: the beautiful lights of the city that you’ve wanted to get to.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries, Inc. - Embarrassing Endorsements - #8254 | Radio Program | A Life That Matters
They call them celebrity endorsements. You know, I see some athlete or celebrity in a commercial, using some product, and I’m supposed to think, “Hey, I like that guy. So I guess I’ll use their product.” Athletes, for example, can make major bucks from these endorsements. Here’s where the problem comes in. What if the guy you’ve associated with your product is suddenly associated with some not-so-nice behavior; like the Olympic star eating a certain cereal who was also allegedly photographed using marijuana? Oops! Or the singer with the chewing gum in his hand who suddenly is accused of not treating his girlfriend very well? Oops! That’s when endorsement turns to like embarrassment.

The Price For Freedom - #2863
Ransom - think of a kidnapping situation. The ransom is the price you pay to set someone free. Jesus tells us what our freedom costs - He would have to "give His life." That price was paid as He suffered the unspeakable agony of dying on a cross, absorbing all the guilt and hell of our sins.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries, Inc. - The Day My Daddy Cried - #8235 | Radio Program | A Life That Matters
This was the date my Dad cried every year. It was the anniversary of the day my baby brother died when I was four years old. He was only six months old. One day he was smiling and he was healthy; the next day he was gone from something the doctors couldn’t even diagnose. My folks were crushed. Why would God send our family that little guy and then take him away after only six months? Lot of people have those kinds of “Why, God?” questions. I don’t have all the “why” about life’s hurts, but I’ve seen how God can use them.

One Velcro Friend - #5911
Our sins are very serious business, and they carry a death penalty which Jesus paid for you. I don't know if you've had a lot of relationships, and you hoped each one would be the ultimate harbor for your heart, and it wasn't. Jesus is life's only safe harbor, and you need to be in the safety of His love.

The Deepest Cry of the Human Heart - #5899
It's possible to believe in God, to do God's things, and to still miss the deep experience of His love. And without that love, the emptiness and loneliness in our heart is never satisfied, no matter how many human loves we experience.
