Soil - a Christian perspective
Jesus told a parable of a farmer who went out to plant seeds in the soil. When he scattered them, some feel in rocky soil, some in soil filled with thorns, others in good soil. The rocky soil produced weak and dead crops, the thorny produced plants that were choked by their surroundings, but the good soil produced healthy plants. Those plants when on to produce a good crop.
