You've been to the edge of desperation, but remember the Lord rescued you out of them all. Maybe you're in a perilous or a painful place again. This time it looks like there is no way out of this, Flash, but then it's looked like that before at the end of other episodes and you're still here. Get some perspective. Stand back. Never Turn Off the Alarm - #6781
If the missile of sin's destruction is headed your way, I guarantee you, the Holy Spirit's alarm is going off in you now. Turn off the alarm and the price will be too high to pay. Respond to the alarm, and you will be able to get out while you can.
Drowning Out the Disturbing Music - #6755
God says in essence, "You can't stop the world from playing its alluring attractions for your children, but you can play the music of Jesus louder." How do you do that? Impress His teachings on your children. It doesn't just say tell them or teach them. It says to impress them.

What Wants to Bite You - #6558
The pull of temptation may be so strong on you because you haven't burned your bridges to it. You want to beat it? Then you have to avoid the places where it is, the people who draw you into it, the props that get you into it. You can't flirt with sin; it's a vicious dog! Pedal fast! The Bible says, "Flee from it." Take a route that's nowhere near the opportunity to do that sin.
Swallowing What You Eat - #6517
Every day ask yourself the question, "What am I going to do because of what I read in the Bible?" And once you do that and start to make those changes, you are well on your way to an exciting new you; one day, one change at a time.
