Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Really Amazing Grace - #3836
I've even had people confide to me a feeling I would call testimony envy - the sense that I almost got cheated because I didn't have a lot of really sinful sin to be saved from. Well, maybe "amazing grace" doesn't seem all that amazing to you because you weren't much of a "wretch." Well, His grace is just as amazing for you - and in some ways more amazing - as it is for the person who was dramatically lost and dramatically found.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - A Parents Hardest Job - #3837
There's that hard word - "leave." Ultimately, your son or daughter is supposed to leave you. Which tells us that our children are not ours to keep. And our mission from God: to prepare our children to leave us - to live without us. Not to make them tied to us, always dependent on us.

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
