Book review: God Space, by Doug Pollock. Effective conversational evangelism.
Most of us struggle to connect with outsiders and have meaningful conversations about faith. We may have been taught to use formulaic methodogies to steer conversations and proclaim set-piece 'one size fits all' gospel presentations. If ever these worked moderately well in times past, they don't now.
Pollock’s book explains his concept of creating a conversational ‘God Space’ in which to engage, by learning to notice and listen, and thereby avoid a range of conversation killers or hijacking methods that control a conversation.

Book review: @stickyJesus - social networking for Christians and evangelism
@stickyJesus is a dynamic new book about sharing faith online through social networking. Tami Heim and Toni Birdsong are gifted writers and communicators. Their blog tag-line 'keeping it real & living sticky online 4 Him' sums up their vision. 'Sticky' reflects their desire that the message should be shared in such a way that it clings to people's hearts. Heim and Birdsong 'get' social media.

Evangelism starting where people are - and free cardboard apologetics tool
A problem with many gospel presentations is that they are ‘finishing’, ’sealing the deal’ proposals, rather than ‘idea starting’, ‘intriguing the lost’, question posers. People who don’t even know there’s a ‘deal’ available, or who have rejected formulaic agendas that don’t engage, may find something else way more helpful. Peter Scheele’s square round triangle video clip is such a presentation – follow this link to buy a round square triangle (US residents) or download an PDF cutout pattern to make your own.

Second Life church: Christian evangelism & cyber church planting in Second Life virtual reality world - preach gospel, Jesus, God
The concept of a parallel universe – Second Life – within the already virtual world of the Web is quite fascinating. If you have already played ‘SIM’ games where you build an imaginary world (eg. Theme Park, Sim City), or multi-user games where you take on an assumed persona and interact with other players, then you have a sense of what Second Life (SL) is.

Devotional : The Way We Witness
Is there still a place for television and radio ministry in today's society? What about preaching in public places - does it even work? Is anyone listening? This devotional explains why it's so important to have humility and faith when it comes to preaching the Gospel, and to surrender our methods of witnessing to Jesus just as we do with every other aspect of our lives.

Close Enough to Save Them - #2719
God has assigned you to a neighborhood, a workplace, a school, a social circle - to put you in a position to represent Jesus there. Yes, with your life - but also with your words. People won't figure out that Jesus took their place on the cross just by watching your life. You have to tell them that!

The Power of One Changed Life - #5909
People don't just want to know about how you got started with Jesus. They want to know what difference does He make in your everyday life? And that means you don't have just a testimony. You should have many testimonies, describing the difference Jesus makes in the parts of your life that might matter to the person you're with. It's your personal hope story that opens the door for you to then explain the Good News about Jesus.
