Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Wrong Builder - #4543
The Lord isn't saying, "Work more." He's saying, "Trust more." Maybe you've been acting as if you're the builder. The reality is that the Lord uses your efforts, but success doesn't depend on your efforts. Jesus said you're just a branch. The results come through you, not from you. He's the vine. He produces the results, not all of your frantic efforts.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Crashing to an Upgrade - #4432
It is one of God's strange and wonderful ways. He allows something to be taken away so He can ultimately replace it with something so much better! The time you really need to focus on that is the time in between, when you're without what you've lost and not yet experiencing God's upgrade. Our missionary pilot friend didn't get his better plane the day after his first plane crashed. There were months of faith-stretching, heavy duty praying, and soul-searching. But in His always perfect time, God did what our friend believed He would do - replace the loss with something better.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Threshold of the Treasure - #4358
Tragically, so many of God's children have made those same kinds of decisions. You may be on the edge of one right now. God is ready to include you in some wonderful blessing He wants to bring into your life, but whether or not you get what He wants to give you depends on a decision you make. You may be on the threshold of treasure He wants to give you - it may be an emotional treasure, a financial blessing, the answer to a long-prayed prayer, a special relationship, a new beginning, maybe a greater impact in your ministry, or a breakthrough in some impossible situation. But, like that man who missed his share of Ronald McDonald's fortune, it may all come down to your making the right decision.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Auditor's Review - #4601
Maybe no one even knows the good things you've done, but the auditor Who gives eternal rewards is noticing it all. We can't see our organization's human auditor most of the time, but we still make a thousand little daily decisions in light of his upcoming review. Should you and I do any less for the auditor whose audit matters forever?

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Hurried, Worried, and Blurry - #4643
God designed us to work six days a week - not seven - and to focus on worship and rest one day out of seven. Like a car, we can't be all accelerator and no brakes or we'll be out of control and will ultimately crash. The Sabbath principle is the brakes that our creator has built into our lives to keep that from happening.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Making Life an Adventure - #4266
At the age of four, our grandson is starting to figure out what really makes life an adventure - it's called "giving living." Living your life, not as a taker, but as a giver ... not to make a name or make a fortune, but to make a difference. That's one reason we experience so much joy at Christmastime. There's something that feels really good about making others happy and sacrificing to give. Guess what? That's how we're supposed to live all year long!

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - How to Open a Closed Door - #4288
Interestingly enough, the way you get that automatic door to open is often the way to get God to open a door for you. You have to start moving in that direction. You have to start walking toward it before it will open.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - From His Hand to Yours - #4759
God has trusted each of us with some gifts from His hand. If it's not material things, it may well be personal traits, personal abilities or influence that are just as valuable, or more valuable than money. Whatever you've been given, who are you using it for? For your advancement, your agenda, or God's agenda and the advancement of His kingdom?

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Slippery Slope Called Success - #4787
When you're looked to, when you've got a position of influence and authority, it's easy to start believing that you don't have to play by all the rules - that you have the right to do some things, to cut some corners, to take some liberties that others don't have. It's part of why success is so dangerous and why success has ruined so many people.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Blue Ribbon Performance - #4136
What the church did was so cool - they gave every child a blue ribbon. They rewarded their effort, not their performance. That's how their Boss does rewards - not their pastor - their Master, Jesus. And if you've been feeling that you don't measure up, that you're a loser compared to some winners you know, you need to look at yourself through your Lord's eyes for a while and see what He sees when He looks at you.
