Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Simplifying Your Journey - #3805
And what do smart sheep do? Try to figure out where they're going to find some good pasture...or try to figure out which road is safe and which one is dangerous...or move in the direction that looks best to them? Nope. They do what my wife did traveling in that unfamiliar territory out West. They quit trying to figure it out for themselves and follow the One who knows every mile of the road! In John 10:27, Jesus says, "My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me."

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Lifting them Higher - #3825
When you have the spirit of Jesus, you look for those who are on the edges, who tend to be left out - and you lift them up by showing interest, including them ... by building their confidence. God also tells us to encourage the weak, the people who, on the surface, may not seem to have much going for them - but, if you give them a lift, they're the people who can find the strength to do what they're never done before.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Looking at Something Better - #3887
God is calling godly parents to play offense, not just defense, in a spiritually hostile culture. Don't just try to keep your children from touching wrong things - help them look in the other direction and find better things to experience - God's things!

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Women Watching their Men - #3888
God seems to have designed the home in such a way that the man is the thermostat - his marriage and his home reflect whatever climate he sets. That climate could be peaceful or stressful, affectionate or cold, communicating or disconnected. He could be setting a climate that is kind or harsh, selfish or unselfish, positive or negative. The woman seems to be the thermometer of the family, reflecting the temperature set by her man. And I guess you might say that the children are the seismograph who register every disturbance.
