Can demons being living in a home and should we cleanse our homes??? I have heard some many mixed opinions on this topic.
Can demons inhabit a home of believers and is it true that we should cleanse our homes? Is that biblical to cleanse a home? Since demons are all around us why should we specifically cleanse a home?
Who are the demons and what can they do to me?

What can Satan do to me? He can only do to you what God will allow for His glory. God will not allow anything to happen to you that you cannot handle and grow from, to be better used to further Christ’s Kingdom and Glory (Job 1:12; 2:6; Luke 22:31, 32). In other words, Satan cannot do “squat,†unless it is authorized for our benefit (Romans 8:28)! We are not to fear him in terror like some Hollywood movie, because, he has been defeated and knows it (Matthew 12:29)
Christians can stand against Satan by following the precepts of John 14:6; 2 Corinthians 10:4; Ephesians 6:10-18; 2 Timothy 2:15; 1 Peter 5:8, 9; James 4:7; and 1 John 4:1. God gives us all of the armor we need to defend ourselves.

Demons are not mythical creatures. They are real. But there are things that need to be understood about them.
1 Angels are beings created by God.
2 They cannot be everywhere at one time like God.
3 When Lucifer and his followers warred in heaven against the other angels,
they lost and were thrown out of heaven. Lucifer is Satan and all the
other angels that were also thrown out of heaven are his demons.
4 Because Satan is a created being and cannot be everywhere at one time, if
you ever see a demon (some people do), in all likelyhood, it is not Satan
himself but rather one of his demons.
5 I do not believe that a true Christian can have a demon within them. How
can one have both the Holy Spirit and a demon within them at the same
time?
6 I believe it is possible for a true Christian to have a demon in their
house. Especially if there are also non-believers in the same house or
people who call themselves Christian but have not fully given their heart
to Christ.
7 I believe a true Christian can expell a demon from their home just by
ordering it, in the name of Jesus Christ, to leave. Remember, God said
that when you ask something of Him, believe, don’t just wish or hope.
