How Much Money Should You Give to the Church?
Unsurprisingly, there are a range of opinions on how Christians should handle giving. Some think we should give as we feel led, others think it’s a strict pretax 10%, others think that 10% is just a starting point. What do you think?

10% is what is required of us to give. That is our tithe.
Giving on the other hand is a condition of the heart. If the heart is not conditioned to give, then it is fruitless for you to give. Scripture reference: 2Cor 9v6-8
2Cor9:6 But I say this, He who sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully shall also reap bountifully.
2Co 9:7 Each one, as he purposes in his heart, let him give; not of grief, or of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver.
2Co 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that in everything, always having all self-sufficiency, you may abound to every good work;
Where does it say 10% exactly? Chapter and verse please
Here is where it says a tenth or you can interpret 10%.
Nehemiah 10:38 A priest descended from Aaron is to accompany the Levites when they receive the tithes, and the Levites are to bring a tenth of the tithes up to the house of our God, to the storerooms of the treasury.
