Rain in the Bible: Matthew 5:44-45

Nature, natural disaster, and the weather don't discriminate between good and bad people. It's our task as Christians to reach out to those who need to hear of God's grace.

    Latter rain
We need to see the joy in everything even if our hearts feel heavy because of worry, sorrow, depression, frustration and what ever else we are going through. The Lord talks to us in many ways. I pray that the Lord open your spiritual senses to listen, to see, to hear and to taste what He has in store for us in the simple things in life…. like the rain which starts at 4h00 in the morning. It is summer and it is not our normal time for rain but when I heard it, it filled me with so much joy. The Lord let me to understand what the latter rain means and what blessings it brings. I did not say will bring. For you to make it your, you need to say “Thank you Lord, I take the blessing, I receive it, and I believe it is coming to pass as I speak. Amen and Amen.”
The early (normal seasonal or first rain) makes your seed (what ever seed you have sown) germinate (take root or developed), this is but the first step, but the latter rain (spring rain or rain out of season) makes it grow. So let us be patient and wait for the autumn rains and spring (James 5: 7). Remember that the Lord wants you to have your harvest whilst on earth whether this harvest is souls won for Him, provision, health or prosperity.
What harvest do you need? Today ask the Lord of the harvest, He who gives seed to the sower, for your harvest. He wants us to grow under the anointing. He our Divine Garden, comes around and prune the branches in order for you do bear more fruit …and then much fruit. I trust from the scripture that we are producing fruit but that the Lord, who is the author and finisher of our faith, wants us to grow from strength to strength.
    Prayer:
I stand in faith with you to receive your latter rain (heavenly blessing) today, in Jesus name. I believe that even though you are going through stuff (being pruned) and that your fruit is on the increase so that the Glory of the Lord shines through you. Amen, Amen.

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
