Well, maybe right now you're facing a big risk, or a big job, or a big setback, or a big threat, and everything in you and around you is signaling, "Retreat!" Your fears are great, you're feeling discouraged. Remember, God's ancient people made their biggest mistake turning away from the Promised Land because they were afraid and they got discouraged. You'll probably miss God's best if your eyes are on the circumstances or your feelings.

COULD YOU EXPLAINED THIS IN MORE DEPTH I THINK I UNDERSTAND THE MESSAGE. IS IT WHEN YOU PUT A HOLD ON LIFE BECAUSE YOU FEAR WHAT SOMEONE THINK AND IT MAKES YOU FEEL GUILTY.

My thought and understanding on the commentary says to me that if I rely on Gods truth and His Will of me and respond to that truth and Will of God instead of leaning on perhaps what others might say or think, then Gods plan will be done, and that I am on track with God and His intension for me as well as His use of me. An example is . . . I lead in children’s and single adult ministries at a time, and I was very attentive and very busy doing Gods work in the ministries and sharing His truth and good word that my personal problems at the time appeared and seemed insignificant in a sense and I believe because of my busy-ness with the work in the ministries, that I personally focused less on what ever issues I thought I had (or other words focused less on myself) and let His Will be done through me outward toward others needing to hear and know of Gods truth and encouraging other fellow Christians as they too encouraged me. So please stand firm in God and His Will of you, respond and do His will to your best ability, seek encouragement from other fellow Christians and believers in God and Lord Jesus Christ, and share Gods truth in minisitry to others. Hand your burdens over into God hands and respond to His truth in taking care of any personal issues, and then in time with God, He will help you through it! Amen
