I’m Ron Hutchcraft, and the same day I was reading about the skyrocketing value of gold, I read in the Bible about something God says is even better than gold. You might be surprised what it is. It says, “For a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith–of greater worth than gold—may be proved genuine” (1 Peter 1:6-7 ).
