Takes a Lickin', Keeps On Tickin' - #2786

If you can hang onto Jesus, if you could be like Jesus in this pain, you'll prove your faith is genuine first to yourself. You will have the deepest confidence in Jesus you've ever had because you've experienced what He can do when no one else can help. You'll also prove your faith is genuine to the people who are watching you, whose own relationship with Jesus may depend on how you weather this beating.

  1. Alexandria Bell says:

My name is Alexandria, I recently started a job at an orphanage. My concern is for the children. When I got my paycheck 2 days of pay was missing. I went to the office and the days were not on the time card. I know I havent missed one day of work. My first thought was to quit, but I had to consider the neglected children that my co-workers mistreat. I prayed and asked God for guidance. I am the only african american house parent on my shift. I am being attacked everyday. I decided to stay and let the Lord take care of this issue. My felings were hurt.

    Hello Alexandria,
I feel your pain. It’s hard to stay positive when you feel that you have been wronged. I am humbled and encouraged by your courage to stay and provide a higher example of what our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ would do. Thanks for the encouragement and I’m looking forward to hearing how you continue to be patient as He works in your life.

    Linda
