Vision perish - a Christian Perspective


Proverbs says that a people without vision will perish; yet, those that keep the law will be happy.

    I think it also applies to the amount of knowledge and professionalism in our workplace. Ignorance is one disease that brings about FAILURE for sure.
    I would say, it is absolutely necessary to know what we are doing and where we are heading !!

    With no vision for lost souls, those lost souls will perish. We have to do our part and win the lost at any cost!

    The cross references to this passage say that when there is no vision from God through the prophets then the people perish – in other words they go off on their way and not God’s way! To perish does not happen in an instant but it is a slow moral decay. Many times the Israelites did what they wanted to. How we too, are like them. It’s time for His Body to once again turn, repent and seek Him and only Him. We only have to look at the Son of God to see that He stuck close by the Father. “My bread is to do only the Will of My Father”.
