    God clearly said that we should not kill. What about self defense and defending your country as the soldiers kill to protect their countrymen?

    There has been wars through out the Bible. Sometime self preservation is required. If you take an other look at that commandment. You shalt not commit murder. It does not say you can not protect your self or others from enemies. Did King David not kill Gollieth with a stone. He was not tried for murder.
    How about the thousands of Egyptian soldiers drowned by the red sea. It was to protect his people.
    God is a just God with the best intention for us. We just need to listen. He is speaking. Can you hear him.
