Get up - a Christian perspective


Jesus heals an invalid just by commanding him to get up and walk. The man had been trying to get to the healing pool but was continually pushed aside by others.

    It seems to indicate that he does not have a friend who is willing to help him in comparison to Mk 2 where the friends carried their paralytic friend to Jesus.
